yearly, as the days begin to shorten drastically, I release a collection of images made during that year to celebrate and appreciate another cycle of creation, inspiration, and growth.
looking back at the people, places and things I photographed—and how I photographed them—
always is a deeply emotional and meditative experience. I am transported back to the moments that I lived—some full of excitement and others as a product of patient observation.
And more often than not, these images are captured when I’m roaming solo.
solo isn’t about being alone or lonely. it signifies solitude: contemplation, reflection and introspection. An important time to gather and center myself in an overwhelmingly busy world - especially in 2024.
I hope my solo will inspire your solitude, too.
